Kano Komori
Kano Komori was born on August 6, 2008, and is from Tokyo. She belongs to Two Touch Company and works as both an actress and a gravure model.
She started acting after appearing in a film at age 14. Attending workshops after that, she got hooked on the stage, and now she reportedly performs in a play about once every two months. She has taken on works with heavy themes such as pregnancy and miscarriage, and when it comes to roles she hasn't experienced, she's the type to "research everything." You wouldn't guess it from her soft appearance, but she's a very hard worker.
In gravure, being chosen as a member of Weekly Young Jump's "Seikore 24" quickly made her name known, and in 2026 she landed her first-ever solo cover on Weekly Shonen Champion. In her own words, "gravure is like dessert." Compared with the stage, where she often struggles, gravure is like a reward, and a photo shoot makes her think "I'll keep working hard." That one line seems to sum up how she balances her two jobs.
Off camera she's a real homebody and sometimes sleeps until 5 p.m. on her days off. She loves Ichiran ramen and udon, and has a surprising side as a fan of zombie movies. She combines the flexibility she gained from 11 years of ballet with the expressiveness she has honed on stage. Her goal is to become "a performer who can move people's hearts," and we're looking forward to seeing what she shows us in film and TV.
