About
Tomoka Takenaka is from Kure City, Hiroshima Prefecture. She is now an announcer at Radio Okinawa, hosting the afternoon program "Hana Hana Tengoku." She actually has a science background, having studied in the Department of Electronics and Photonic Systems at Hiroshima Institute of Technology. From there she worked her way from north to south as a newscaster at Aomori Asahi Broadcasting, Iwate Asahi TV, and NHK Okinawa.
In December 2025, at age 43, she appeared in a swimsuit in Weekly Playboy, earning the nickname "the Reiwa-era Suika Cup." Fans welcomed her warmly with comments like "Thank you for this brave decision!" and "I'll treasure it forever!" On message boards, many praised "her amazing smile" and "her age-appropriate allure," and you can feel that longtime fans had really been waiting for this. Some even said, "I want to see the making-of footage too."
She continued releasing her "TOMOKA" series of digital photobooks, but in Weekly Playboy in July 2026 she commented, "This may be my last gravure." If it really is the last, videos where you can see her in motion are quite precious. We recommend checking them out while you can.
