About
Ai Inamitsu is from Nara Prefecture, nicknamed "Ainyan." Influenced by her older sister, she joined a child talent agency in Osaka at age 4, so even though she's still a teenager, she already has over 10 years of experience. In junior high she was also active in the dance and vocal unit "GLUES."
Her name spread fast in 2024, when she won a double award: the Grand Prix of Weekly Young Jump's "Seikore 24" (the first winner from Nara Prefecture) and Miss Seventeen 2024. She is now an exclusive model for Seventeen. Since junior high she had been steadily working to get noticed — posting on Instagram every day and even adding Korean hashtags — so these awards feel like the result of all that effort.
Recently her acting work has been increasing too, including the role of Hikari Hayama in the film "Shiro no Kajitsu" (白の花実). Her goal is "to appear in a film by director Rikiya Imaizumi." She looks up to Mio Imada, her favorite food is udon, and she's lately into crochet — that down-to-earth side is part of her charm. We're excited to see what roles she takes on next.
